Each year, the Carbon Utilization Research Council (CURC) hosts an annual Capitol Hill Day centered around our Winter General Membership Meeting in Washington, D.C. This year, our Capitol Hill Day will take place on Thursday, March 12.
Our Capitol Hill Day is a full day event during which members of CURC have the opportunity to meet with their Congressional delegations and other offices they are interested in to discuss CURC's advocacy message. Last year, CURC members met with staff from over 50 Congressional offices, including both the House and Senate, as well as several Members of Congress. During these meetings, CURC members discussed their organizations' interest in pursuing policies that promote the development and deployment of advanced fossil generation technologies.
