"Getting to Net-Zero" Briefing Series

CURC is holding a series of conversations titled "Getting to Net-Zero with Carbon Capture and Removal Technologies", co-hosted by:

  • Clean Air Task Force
  • Third Way
  • Bipartisan Policy Center
  • Carbon Capture Coalition
  • Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute
  • ClearPath
  • Great Plains Institute

Large-scale deployment of carbon capture and removal technologies will contribute to the decarbonization of traditional stationary sources in the power and industrial sectors, offset hard-to-decarbonize sectors including aviation, shipping and other modes of transport, and reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide remaining in the atmosphere. The Getting to Net-Zero series will explore the various ways these technologies can contribute to economywide decarbonization while simultaneously preserving and creating jobs across clean energy, industrial and manufacturing sectors that pay family-sustaining wages.
